Summer Fun

The boys have had a great time in the pool so far this year. After about 3 or 4 days of swimming they both lost their fear of the water and now will both jump and go under the water. Traver has taught himself how to swim and Kaden thinks he can!

Our Little Gymnasts

Traver has just recently figured out how to do handstands and practices everyday until he has made them almost perfect which is amazing for a 3 year old, or in Traver's words to Kaden the other day "You are an incredible child!"

Kaden loves to play ball, but he holds the bat like a guitar. If you try to show him how to hold it right he gets mad. He gets so annoyed by flies so we taught him how to shoo them away.

Happy "Sweet 16" Alix

Alix had a great "Sweet 16th" Birthday. We celebrated with our very good friends, the Gregerson's.

Alix's Spring Recital

Don't you love younger siblings?! She did a very good job for all distractions. Stan had football that night and I tried my hardest to find a babysitter. I knew going to a piano recital with the two of them by myself was not a good choice. Thank heaven for good friends who helped get the boys down while I was taping. Alix really loves music and we are very proud of her for all of her musical abilities.

Caterpillar Galore!

We have had a massive influx of caterpillers this year. The boys have loved playing with them, or better Traver has loved playing with them, Kaden tolerates them. He did finally sit down and let this one crawl on him. Unfortunatly not many survived that the boys got a hold of.

Kaden is not quite sure if he likes this crawly, furry thing on him or not.

Up the belly it goes.

Look Mom! It's on me!

Traver's Newest Song

He is so cute when he sings! Of course I am bias. This is his favorite song right now along with "I Belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" but he doesn't know that one well enough to tape right now. I had to sit him on the couch so that you could hear him sing but usually he bounces around and does karate kicks while he sings this song.

Suicide Cereal! and Shoe Fanatic

Kaden loves shoes, but only the ones he can put on by himself. So he puts on all of our shoes but mostly Traver's Crocs and only one. So on any given day he will shuffle around for hours with just one shoe on his right foot.

Traver loves to have cereal for breakfast. For the longest time he would have two different kinds of cereal. He has now gone to a complete suicide cereal. He will have every kind of cereal open in the cupboard. Honey Nut Cherrios, Apple Cinnimon Cherrios, Kix, Rice Krispies, Raisin Bran, and Fruity Cherrios. It is quite humerous.

Grandma Park's Green Pie

OK, so yesterday we finished eating dinner and
Traver gets up, is in the fridge and looking for green
pie. We kept telling him that there was no pie in
the fridge. We finally convinced him that there was
no pie in there and that he would have to call Grandma
for pie. So he called her and told her he wanted a green pie.
I have no idea where the green came from except that
he is very much into Incredible Hulk (which he calls
Incredible Honk) and as of late everything has to be
green. As it turns out Grandma complied with the
request and the boys had mini green pies for dessert
tonight. You can't really tell in the pictures but it was
definately green pie.
What a great grandma! Thanks a bunch grandma!

Thanks Grandma Matravers

What is it with dressing up your little brother?

Do sisters ever get tired of dressing up
their little brothers? I would say that
we desperately need a little girl in our house, but
I don't think that would help. I remember
doing this to my little brother, David. And
I had 5 younger sisters.
Traver doesn't seem to mind it much!

Kaden escaped the torture this time around!

Yeah! Cousins

Happy Birthday Dad!

Traver absolutely loves to celebrate Birthdays.
He has to help everyone blow out their candles
and usually sticks his fingers in the cake. Kaden
just wants a piece of it.
